Cobra is one of the longest running manufacturers of the quality CB Radio and is one of the best known (if not THE best known) on the market.  Their famous 148GTL SSB rig is still being produced, one of the few CB manufacturers that still offer SSB CB radios for sale.

It should be noted that the Cobra 29 and the Uniden PC78 are basically the same radio, being built from the same chassis.  Both Uniden and Cobra offer their respective models in various different flavors from basic to bells and whistles included.  Compare prices accordingly!
